Of course we didn't have as many people as we thought because my Granny got another "cold". She has had a "cold" every Thanksgiving and Christmas for several years. Honestly, I believe she is going out with her friends. Once we went over to her house before we went to my mom's for Christmas and she was in full makeup and ready to leave to go out. hahahaha I think this is really funny.
So this year, when she called on Wednesday to say she was to sick to come, I told her that she really didn't have to make up stories and she could just tell us the truth. She said she would remember that for next year. HAHAHAHAHA!
Anyway, this year we decided to spice things up a little bit with strawberry daiquiris. It was a fabulous idea. It really helped out when my brother's friend, Eric, turned on some horrible amateur drag racing movie about this desperate town in Indiana that is in this crazy depression. Everyone in this movie used so many profanities it was hard for me (and Luke's mom) to understand what they are saying.
At first it was kinda funny, until I realized how sad all these people's lives were. Luke's dad probably never heard that many horrible words at the same time. However, everyone watched the entire thing! I could hardly stay in the same room, but everyone else was glued to the tv.
Eric, however, turned on the movie and then left. I'll have to thank him for that latter.
