I know! Can you believe it? We were just eating a bagel at the bagel shop and I mentioned that I liked this baby store in the same shopping center, USA Baby. It is locally owned by this really helpful woman and her parents. Anyway, we were just looking around and saw this set. Of course it is discontinued because I don't think we have ever bought anything that sold well. I guess we have odd taste. So, we bought it. The owner let us keep it there until she gets her new shipment in. We really liked this set because the hutch is a changing table and then a bookcase and the bed turns into a day bed and then a full size bed. We really liked that it is well made out of (get this) real wood. We just figure that our kid will be climbing up on everything and jumping off. We also learned about other things we will need that are specific to a 10 to 12 month old child. We get to skip a lot of steps. See we are already advanced..
In other news... I am very excited about spring!!! I have daffodils blooming in my front yard! We planted 100 and I have about 33 blooming right now.
Sculley is excited too!
Our peach tree is blooming!
I need to stick some new mulch down around my daffodils but there is already so much old mulch that need to be taken out. I'm trying to wait for a day without wind to lessen my allergies when digging up the old mulch. Good luck to me to find that day..
Last week we hosted a baby shower for our friends Jeb and Amy.
They live in Ohio. It was really good to see them!
We served pulled pork sliders from Kamps.
And the BEST cupcakes I have EVER had from Culinary Miracles! She makes the cupcakes for Sean Cummings Pub. Seriously, they were fabulous!
