Mulder has been getting in a lot of trouble lately. Mulder, on Saturday, was kicked out of his second day care. He apparently tried to attack and kill a labordoodle.
Last night he chased after a skunk, which sprayed him in the face at close range. And at close range to our house. It got in Mulder's eyes. I had a migraine and had gone to bed early. That woke me up. We washed him with: soap, mouth wash, baking soda, shampoo, conditioner, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, conditioner, that might be all. His eyes were so red and he was in a lot of pain.
We had to hold him all night long.
This morning we all smelled: Luke, me, the house, Mulder...I don't think Sculley did because she is smarter that the rest of us.
Luke had people comment about his smell at work.
I woke up with the same migraine and tried unsuccessfully to make an appointment for him to get a skunk bath at the same place that is unable to have him attend day care any more, but they were full :(.
I went to the vet, smelling like skunk, looking like skunk to buy dog food. They gave me a recipe for skunk remover: 1 quart hydrogen peroxide, 1 quart Dawn soap, 1/4 cup baking soda. I mixed it together. Stuck poor sweet Mulder in the tub and washed him with it. It striped the smell, skin and my finger nails off. He smells less bad.
The house still smelled. Luke came home early to help me from having a break down. We cleaned and scrubbed for hours! We did laundry from 7 AM to now (which is 9:35 PM). We went to dinner, came home-the house STILL SMELLS!
We have hardly any soft surfaces in our entire house. Those have been washed. I don't know what could be scrubbed or washed that hasn't already been cleaned?
I'm offensive......
