Some highlights of my DC trip so far...

Well here I am in DC attending the National Association or REALTOR Mid-Year conference.  The conference has been terrific.  Way better than I could have imagined.  We have had a summit with real estate experts such as Alan Greenspan, Shaun Donovan, and Sheila Bair among others.

I also went to talk to four of our state representatives, Sullivan, Coburn, Fallin and Inhofe.  This picture was in Coburn's office.  I had lots of time to think about how funny it was since he was 30 minutes late to talk to us and then bum rushed us out the door.

Jackson Pollack (I have no idea why this is underlined and I can't make it stop) is Luke's favorite painter.  Also, Olivia the pig's.  I had this picture taken for Luke and then emailed it to him.  He asked me to steal it.  I'm usually against such things but I did try and see if it would fit under my shirt.  No luck.

I have had fun being by myself.  Last weekend was trying at my buddy's house and I have had some incidences here that I would like to forget.  But I love DC and am happy to be back-walking to everything, being part of the city.

I started out walking in low heels.  I don't know what I was thinking when I packed my bags.  Then I was wearing flat pointy toe shoes.  Finally, I bought some shoes that I might have to wear everyday to make up the cost and then a more expensive pair (why go out easy).  However, by the time I had proper walking shoes my feet were torn up!  I would take a picture but it is disgusting.  Think "run fat boy run".

Tomorrow I have three seminars and then am going to VA to meet my friends and go eat at their favorite Korean restaurant.  Then on Saturday I'll be off to OKC.  Hopefully, all the bad weather will be gone when I get home.  I brought the wind here with me, so hopefully I will leave it here and be able to have nice patio drinks with my friends.  Ready to be with Luke again.  I have been spending a lot of time alone.
