I finally finished my quilt that I have been working on for Ike's Foster mother. This picture is bad ( I hope). It is hard to make a quilt for an older person that I don't know. All of the fabrics are pretty, but none of them are something that I would pick out for me. Anyway, this will be my gift to her.
I bought other people that will be given presents (like the drivers, maids, etc..) little cheeses shaped like Oklahoma. Looking back it would have been better if I would have went with the cheese shaped like Indians. Maybe I'll go back. I bought an OU shirt for my Korean social worker and I have some Indian Blanket flower seeds to give out as well.
We were able to send another care package to Ike and FM yesterday. I didn't take a picture of what we sent. We put a stuffed pound puppy type dog, a book for chewing, pumpkin coffee, dove chocolates and note cards ( last three for FM).
Unfortunately I do not fit in a one gallon zip lock bag. I bet we will here something soon!
