(This is the most requested picture I have taken of Ike. I have probably 2000+ pictures of him, a lot are really good, and this is the one everyone wants? What does that say about my friends?)
Hey everyone! Happy New Year! I have been absent from my blogging for quite some time. We all got kinda sick; Ike had a runny noise, Luke had a pretty bad cold, and I thought I might die for about two days. Then there was Christmas and the great Oklahoma Blizzard of 2009 (when I had no internet). It was only the 6 time in 106 years that we have had a white Christmas! It was very exciting for us. We had so much snow!
Of course Ike loved it because he loves everything. Luke made a big footprint in the snow and stuck Ike in it. He thought it was so funny. He was laughing and eating snow saying his famous "yummmmm".
Ike had a nice time at all 4 of his Christmas' too. I think he thinks he gets presents everyday. He came home, he got presents. Then was his birthday, he got presents. Then Christmas, he got more presents. Plus, we have friends coming over almost everyday to bring him something. He is getting so good at opening things. Every time anyone walks in the door he assumes they will have something for him-they usually do.
Ike had developed a wonderful love of animals, especially dogs. He loves Sculley and Mulder. When he wakes up from a nap or in the morning he looks for them right away and wants some kisses. He has started to not grab their face and paws as much. This is the main thing we have been working on with him. Sculley has even started letting him play with her toys and not being completely annoyed.
For most of the day, Ike crawls and walks around the house with his remote in his hand. He loves that thing. He has hundred toys and he plays with the remote.
Ike is saying new words everyday. Yesterday he said "milk", "cookie", "cracker" and something else? (I probably should be writing all this down but I'm not.) The amazing thing, to me, was that he crawled into the kitchen, sat by the pantry, and said "cracker". He is very verbal. He also like to play "thank you" where we give him something, he says something that remotely resembles "thank you" and then he gives it back to us. This game goes on for a long time.

I hope everyone has had a great holiday season and has a happy new year!

Oh my gosh - the poor little thing with the face plant in the snow!! That is sooooo funny. But I felt bad laughing!!
He is so adorable and it seems every child LOVES remote controls. Anderson hides ours so he has it all to himself.
Happy New Year to you and I am so glad you have your Ike!
