Let me start by saying Ike can work crowd! He loves a good party. Today we celebrated his first birthday with most of our friends and family. He had the best time. I have no idea who I invited because I sent out the invitations the first week we were home with Ike. I still have no idea how many people were here. I do know that Luke was concerned about opening all the presents and I want to stress I told everyone we needed nothing :). How can a two hour baby birthday be the longest two hours ever? We love a party, but this one wore me out. Not Ike. He had a great time.
We had a bunch of kids here around one year. Ike loves his friends. There are really no situations we have put Ike in that he had a hard time with. He crawls up to everyone one and tries to talk to them.
Ike devoured his birthday cake. My mom and barry made his cake, a refrigerator cake. This is what I always have for my birthday. It has jello in laced in the cake with dream whip and puddling icing. Yum!!
Ike met his good friend Q today for the first time. They really hit it off. We are going skiing next year with them so it's great they like each other so much.
We also spent an unordinary amount of time at Petsmart today waiting to get Ike, Sculley and Mulder's picture taken with Santa. Sculley has always been scared of Santa. Weird because Sculley has never stepped down from a challenge. Normally Mulder is the one who is afraid??Thank you to everyone who came. We had a great time!
