I know I have written about how social and gregarious Ike is before, but he continues to amaze us. He walks up to babies and adults a like and offers them whatever he is eating or asks for food :). He blows kisses to the ladies, he shakes hands with men and hugs babies. Yesterday at the Arts Festival he said "bye" to everyone after meeting them by showing everyone his balloon. He also has this weird thing with apples???
He has started talking in two word sentences; mainly, "Ike go", "dog drink", etc.. He also will say things like, "cold water", "red apple"...
He likes to walk around in these cowboy boots, which are way to big, and talk on the phone to no one or who ever. Then he will try and email or text someone and play games., sometimes deleting my apps.

He has been a lot of fun lately, especially since we can kinda understand him. And when I say he is saying all these words, I mean that Luke and I know what he is saying. :) But I'll take it! We are always in awe of how resilient and strong Ike is and how he just turns 'on' for a crowd.
I don't know if he will always be like this and I would like for him to have at least a little bit of 'stranger danger' (although he does seem to have a sense of of people), but I keep having people tell me that he is "destined for great things" and is "going to be famous". I know he will do great things, he already does. But, man, the attention this kid brings is unreal. We can't go anywhere with everyone talking to him, and he LOVES it. "what's his name", "how old is he", "is he always this happy", "does he always have this much to say", "I can tell he is a 'man's man'" (that's my favorite-what does that mean?) and of course lots of comments on how handsome he is.

It is probably easy to tell that Ike is an only child because Luke and I think everything he does is so great. And now that he has stopped falling as much I have stopped having heart attacks daily.
Sorry I don't have anything funny to say, or riveting for that matter. It has been pretty boring around here. I guess that is good?

Ike does seem to have such a great personality! He is a special little boy and it sounds like he is doing just great!
