Two days ago (or yesterday?) I did find Sculley in our vegetable garden. Which means that she removed a brick, opened a latch and pulled the gate towards her to enter. She was standing on a raised bed with lettuce in her mouth. She had dug up all of our onions, lettuce, radish, the few pea plants that popped up and anything else we might have planted. But, what do you do? She is just so smart to even get in there.
Also, I am sick. I woke up Tuesday feeling great! I actually woke up and then ran, instead of dragging myself out of bed, drinking coffee, moping and then dragging myself out the door to run. During my run I was thinking how great I was feeling. Then I got to my office, sat down and thought "wow, I really don't feel well". Then it kept getting worse.
I guess I have a sinus infection from the ever changing weather. I took off from a lot of obligations but still did some of the things I couldn't get out of doing. Plus the horrible fires in MWC scared me to death all of Thursday night. The fires were right by my parents house and I used to know several people who lived in those neighborhoods that were effected. I don't know if I know anyone who lost their home. But I feel horrible for those families. It is a miracle that no one has died from the fires.
So I'm already sick, but we went to the Thunder game last night. My buddies firm has sweet tickets! 4th role right behind the team! It was amazing. So today I woke up and can't talk! What! I think the Cox center is pumping straight oxygen into the floor, because I felt not so hot when I walked into the Cox center and when we got inside I was miraculously cured! That all ended as soon as I walked out the door.
Plus my step-dad is having kidney stone problems and I guess my brother is sicky too. We decided to have Easter next week.
