New Ike Pictures!

We received new pictures of Ike today with some of the stuff we sent him. It is weird seeing him being active instead of just sitting in a chair like a little doll. He looks like he has grown a lot! I'm hoping we will get some new numbers on him and some video.

I woke up today really worried about him, so I was glad to get an update.

I am ready to go pick him up! It is going to be awhile so hopefully time will go by fast and Luke and I will just enjoy our time together as people without a child.

Although, we have been dog sitting my parents poodle, who is like an infant. Sculley and Mulder are definitely lap dogs, but they are too big to be carried. Fifi requires a lot more attention. She needs to be carried constantly, she won't go outside by herself, she has to be hand fed or she won't eat, and she eats on top of the counter to be away from our dogs. So we're most likely prepared for Ike. :)

I do have a feeling that little Ike is going to run me ragged. I can just see it now, calling Luke at work freaking out because Sculley won't stop barking, Mulder won't stop following me everywhere and Ike will not be put down or stop knocking stuff off shelves. It is going to be crazy! Am I ready for this? I think so?????

That picture is adorable! From someone who wasn't ready, I'll tell you it all works out. Baby plus one dog was insane for about the first 3-4 weeks. Now I feel like we're in this pattern and it feels like it's always been like this!

Ike is SO cute! I can't wait to see him in your arms. I am having the same anxieties about Colin and our two Great Danes...it will certainly be an adventure. :) I'm praying for a speady EP, PP, and TC for Ike!

of course you are ready! it's going to be insano for a bit i imagine but you'll get in your groove and do amber things + ike! I do STRONGLY suggest doing all the things you and luke like to do, like eating out, i know you're not a fan of movies but i would suggest going to one, napping, running errands, those types of things. :)

ahhh...what a great pic. He is adorable. Your world is about to be rocked, in an amazing way. Just one suggestion, take all the things off the shelves within Ike size hand level now :)

E-GAT he is too cute! I wish the pic had his cute little feet in it though. And if you aren't ready I am sure you will quickly adjust - Mister Ike will force it :)
