Another week with no news..

Luke carved this in a table in Taos. (It was already carved up.)

I hate to complain since we did make the EP cut, but I was really hoping I would get a call this week to say it was approved. I know it is just Thursday, but I feel like no one finds anything out on Monday or Friday, so Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I freak out all day long.

I'm thinking that since our EP was not approved this week it will be doubtful for us to travel in October. I could be wrong. It could happen. It is just getting less and less likely.

The main thing is that I am actually just sitting around waiting. I know I keep saying this but I really really thought I would have already traveled or would be traveling any day. So, I had prepared myself not to have any work after the second week of September. So now I have nothing going on. I keep making stuff up to do.

I am almost done with my foster mom quilt. I'm not sure if I like it. The materials I choose seems to have turned out to be more brown then blue, like I had thought.

I'm planning on redoing the hall bath to make it more boy-y. I put up wall paper in there when we moved in. Now I will be taking it down.

I need to dig the dirt out of my front gardens; it seems plants are struggling to survive in there?

I would like to re-tile our toe kicks under our cabinets. I'll probably do this after I finish the quilt since cutting tile can get cold if the weather isn't warm.

So, any who, I always have projects. I seem to want to blog stalk then to complete them :)
