Thank you, everyone, for your comments and emails.

I really would like to thank everyone for their comments and emails. It is helpful to know what other people have done to help their babies get to sleep.

I would like to stress that we are not putting him in his crib and shutting the door for the whole night.

Last night he slept all night long. It did take a long time for him to go to bed. We are talking hours. Today, he took no naps despite our trying. Tonight, it took less time for him to go to sleep. But it was still trying and heat breaking. It's only been 8 days.

During the day, Ike is a little brilliant genius. We are scared of his intelligence. He is loving, funny, active, intuitive, inquisitive, and a pure joy. He just has trouble at night. I think anyone who is sad or worried or anxious about anything is more so when they are tired.

We went to the OKC Zoo today. We love the zoo and have been Zoo Friends my whole life. He had a great time. He loves animals and can already name a few in English. I carried him because I was cold and haven't worked out in a long time and I figure that carrying 25 lbs around has to be considered a weight barring activity. Plus we thought it would be less stimulating for him. Although, he seriously never seems to have had too much. Ike was tired shortly after we arrived so we didn't stay very long.

This week we are going to try our best to take it easy and limit visitors and activities. We are going to 'do our best and forget the rest', which means we will still have some visitors and will still go some places.

I appreciate everyone's concern and it is nice to know so many people read our blog.

Yes, carrying him will be great excercise! Anderson weighs 27lbs and my arm muscles are so strong from carrying him - lol.
I hope the little man rests well tonight!
