If you don't like the weather...

Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful day by anyone's standards here in OKC. We went to the zoo, we walked the dogs to the dog wash, I worked in my garden. Nice.

But you would never guess that it would be so nice this week if you were here last week. Last week, Lake Hefner was all but completely frozen over. We were throwing bricks on the lake and it still was not breaking. In OKC we never have cold weather long enough to freeze a lake. CRAZY! It was super cool!

Ike started school two weeks ago. He is doing great. He is still crying when I drop him off, but I think he is just doing it so they will love on him. He loves the love. He talks non-stop. He has tons of words. He is getting much better at expressing himself to tell us what he needs and it seems that he almost fully understands us. He is really incredible. I can tell you right now that it would take me at least 6 months before I would remotely be able to understand Korean. He still isn't much into walking. He can walk. He just doesn't really want too. He thinks its real funny to walk and then plank backwards. Then he gets upset that no one was there to catch him. I really can not wait for him to walk and keep his balance. Seriously!!

He has a check up appointment next week. I am very curious to see how much he has grown. I'm guessing 3/4 inch and 3-4 lbs in two months!

So, sorry this is such a hodge podge post. I have had a lot of work lately which has interfered with my blogging. And I haven't been able to get on a roll with this post because my pictures loaded oddly and people keep calling me and wanting me to work. Off I go to try and get some things done and hopefully go running and enjoy this beautiful day!
